Why Geelong roofs fade faster
Coastal UV and salt spray break down roof coatings years early, especially in Torquay, Ocean Grove and along the Bellarine. A proper restoration cleans back to sound tile or metal, fixes repairs first, then seals it with primer and topcoats. Salt air, coastal wind and long summer sun are hard on Geelong roofs. Ridge mortar dries out and cracks, coatings chalk and fade, and gutters near the water rust from the inside out.

Roof painting Geelong FAQs
How long does a roof restoration take in Geelong?
Most Geelong homes take 3–5 working days, depending on roof size and how windy the coast is that week; we don't spray in strong wind.
Do you paint metal roofs as well as tiles?
Yes. Tile and Colorbond/metal roofs are both cleaned, repaired and recoated with the right primer for the surface.
Will the coating stand up to salt air?
We use coatings suited to coastal exposure, applied over a clean, sound surface, which is what makes them last near the water.
Do you work on the Bellarine and Surf Coast?
Yes, from Lara to Torquay, Ocean Grove and Portarlington.
